The music, distant, dusty but ours from years ago...
fills my mind and soul
my toes in shiny heels do tap,
my face in smiles my hands do clap,
my face in smiles my hands do clap,
and through my eyes, absorbed and clear
such beautiful faces, sitting here,
these sparkling eyes, this crowded room,
so young, peaceful, handsome, so alive...
just enjoying each other, just being together.
I hear their laughter I place my hand on his,
through my eyes I see them here
through my eyes I see it all...

Thanks Laura...just a little 'muse' or reflection on a perfect scene...a wonderful evening. X
I am hoping all is calm on the health front, I do love your poems and have been reading them for a while now. Minna Van Stone
Another wonderful moment spent reading your words. Thanks again!
I'd like to invite you to join our EMS/A&E Blog Carnival called The Handover. You can give it a look at my site, www.rescuing-providence.blogspot.com. The people who run it have asked me to host next months edition and choose a topic. I've chosen "Partners" as my theme. I know that you and Hamada are not employed in our field, but people like you are the very reason we believe we have the greatest job in the world. When I think of Partners, you are at the top of the list!
If you have a favorite you would like to share I'd be honored to include it in my post. If this is something you are not comfortable with, that's okay, I understand completely.
I can see this with you and through your eyes, it sounded a good evening. J x
Thank you Minna, I know you have linked my poems to your Prayer Chain, I do hope they are enjoyed, and give courage to all who read them. Sincere Regards.
Thanks to J and to Michael for your comments. Michael, as you will see I have dedicated the next poem " Breath Of Life-My Partner" to the Blog Carnival and to all the Paramedics/Firefighters, we have much to thank our Paramedics for!!
